3. Provide a more detailed argument about the issue that you identified in your second portfolio item (essay plan) related to your subject of study form a psychological or sociological perspective. Some examples you could write about include:

• Are black men pushed into playing certain sports?

• Why are women convicted of ‘male’ crimes given higher sentences?

• Is a good coach a parental figure or someone who changes behaviour?

• Should we blame parents for young people’s behaviour?

• What combination of humanism, behaviourism and psycho-dynamic approach makes for the best counselling?

• Is crime learnt behaviour or a choice?
