This is a research paper on a specific state’s juvenile justice system.  Suggestions for the paper:  This paper should give a good overview of the history of a  state’s juvenile justice system, and a review of the current juvenile system for a state of your choice.    The report should include the state’s key ages for minority and waiver.    A complete section of the paper should be devoted to the states procedures for waiving a juvenile to the (adult) criminal system.  Current cases that have been waived to criminal court should be reviewed as an application of the state’s waiver process and effectiveness.  The specific names and responsibilities of the agencies responsible for juveniles that are in the state system should be included in the report.   The report should include an evaluation of the successes and failures of the chosen state’s juvenile justice system, as illustrated in current cases.

This paper will be 7-9 pages and will be in APA format.  For full credit you must use at lease 8 sources (not including your book).  Included in the paper should be an abstract of works cited page (references); these pages will not count toward the 7-9 required pages
