Using the analysis checklist, answer each question for this principle. Remember that for a yes answer, you should feel more than 70% confident it’s a YES. Otherwise, answer it as NO. The NO answers should give you indicators on what is wrong with this chart and what needs correction.

  Is the point of the visual clear?

  Does the viewer quickly get the point?

  Is the story clear?

  Does the visual support a business story, not a story of your analysis journey?

   Does the viewer understand the import of the point the visual is trying to make?
