Online search can be undertaken using the following databases; Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Medline, Internurse, the British Nursing Index as well as Google Scholar.

A good way to capture the search results is by using the PRISMA flow chart. You can add this as an appendix. You can look at the PRISMA flow chart used in a recently published paper.
